You didn't tell me you were English.... traitor... I took you for French, and not an Anglo-Saxone from Merry old England! And you let me greet you without saying 'Cheerio' or 'For Yorkshire!' I'm hurt Therese!

Jk, but in all seriousness, you have a lovely accent but as I'm French I can't place the region, is it south-England?

Hehe my apologies, mon ami, I am not actually British, though I do have British ancestry on my mother’s side; I tend to slip into a British accent while reading, but it was on purpose for this piece to better honor Chesterton’s work and Alfred’s world of old England.
